گئی رتوں کی رفاقتوں میں تمہیں ملوں گی

میں چاہتوں کی ریاضتوں میں تمہیں ملوں گی

تم اپنی منزل کے راستوں میں جو دیکھ پاؤ

تو راستوں کی صعوبتوں میں تمہیں ملوں گی

نہیں ملوں گی کسی بھی وصل آشنا سفر میں

میں ہجر موسم کی شدتوں میں تمہیں ملوں گی

کہ میں نے چاہت کو بھی عقیدہ بنا لیا ہے

اگر ملی تو عقیدتوں میں تمہیں ملوں گی

میں جانتی ہوں کہ تیرے ادراک میں نہیں ہوں

مگر وفا کی شباہتوں میں تمہیں ملوں گی

ہو قید تم اپنی ذات کے خول میں اگرچہ

بس ایک خوشبو ہوں دستکوں میں تمہیں ملوں گی

وہ بنت حوا کو گو نظر سے گرا رہے ہیں

مگر وہ کہتی ہے رفعتوں میں تمہیں ملوں گی

نہیں ہے شاہینؔ خواب پر اعتبار مجھ کو

سو زندگی کی حقیقتوں میں تمہیں ملوں گی
