تو اگر بیٹیاں نہیں لکھتا

تو سمجھ کھڑکیاں نہیں لکھتا

سردیاں جو تھیں سب سہیں میں نے

دھوپ کو عرضیاں نہیں لکھتا

جب شہر پوچھتا نہیں اس کو

گاؤں بھی چٹھیاں نہیں لکھتا

میں ہوا کے گناہ کے بدلے

آگ کی غلطیاں نہیں لکھتا

پیج سادہ ہی چھوڑ دیتا ہوں

میں کبھی تلخیاں نہیں لکھتا

اس میں بچے کا ہے گناہ کہاں

وہ اگر تتلیاں نہیں لکھتا

sardiyan jo thin sab sahin main ne
dhup ko arziyan nahin likhta

jab shahr puchhta nahin us ko
ganw bhi chiTThiyan nahin likhta

main hawa ke gunah ke badle
aag ki ghalatiyan nahin likhta

page sada hi chhoD deta hun
main kabhi talKHiyan nahin likhta

is mein bachche ka hai gunah kahan
wo agar titliyan nahin likhta
