باغ میں موسم نمو آیا

ہجر میں تیرے مجھ پہ کیا گزری

آج تک پوچھنے نہ تو آیا

جس طرح میں نے تجھ کو یاد کیا

یاد یوں کب کسی کو تو آیا

تیرا کوچہ ہے یا کوئی مقتل

جو بھی آیا لہو لہو آیا

میں اسی کی طرح ملا اس سے

آئنہ بن کے روبرو آیا

ختم دور خیال و خواب ہوا

لمحۂ ترک آرزو آیا

راستے دیر تک رہے روشن

دور تک میرے ساتھ تو آیا

یاد آئی کسی کی پھر خاورؔ

دل سے آنکھوں میں پھر لہو آیا
