مری آنکھوں کے صحرا میں سمندر تھا
ابھرتی رقص کرتی ڈوبتی تھیں اس میں جل پریاں
جزیرے تھے زمرد کے
فضائیں وجد آور مشک آگیں عنبریں تھیں
نہ جانے کون سے آتش فشاں پنہاں تھے دامن میں زمانے کے
سمندر کو بدل کر رکھ دیا صحرا میں خوابیدہ بگولوں نے
