صباحت عروج
زیست محو سحاب ہو جیسے
مجھ میں تیرا شباب ہو جیسے
اس عقیدت سے چپ ہی رہتے ہیں
تیری سننا ثواب ہو جیسے
رکھ کے سر پہ گلی میں بیچی ہے
یہ محبت عذاب ہو جیسے
اس کی نظروں میں دیر تک دیکھا
میری آنکھوں کا خواب ہو جیسے
تیرے در پہ سکوں نہیں ملتا
میری نیت خراب ہو جیسے
اس کے خط کو سنبھال رکھا ہے
اک مقدس کتاب ہو جیسے
ایسے رکھا رہا کتابوں میں
حسن اس کا گلاب ہو جیسے
جستجو کی یہ موت ہے صاحب
تیرا ملنا سراب ہو جیسے

ye mohabbat azab ho jaise
us ki nazron mein der tak dekha
meri aankhon ka KHwab ho jaise
tere dar pe sukun nahin milta
meri niyyat KHarab ho jaise
us ke KHat ko sanbhaal rakkha hai
ek muqaddas kitab ho jaise
aise rakha raha kitabon mein
husn us ka gulab ho jaise
justuju ki ye maut hai sahab
tera milna sarab ho jaise
