اس نے ہم سے بھی چھپایا ہم کو

جس نے مضمون لکھے تھے ہم پر

اس نے پھر خط بھی نہ لکھا ہم کو

جو مسرت ملی تقسیم ہوئی

اور ملا درد سو تنہا ہم کو

حادثوں ہی نے چڑھایا پروان

غم ملے حوصلہ افزا ہم کو

ہم کہ دنیا کے لئے روئے ہیں

دیکھنا روئے گی دنیا ہم کو

us ne hum se bhi chhupaya hum ko

jis ne mazmun likhe the hum par
us ne phir KHat bhi na likkha hum ko

jo masarrat mili taqsim hui
aur mila dard so tanha hum ko

hadson hi ne chaDhaya parwan
gham mile hausla-afza hum ko

hum ki duniya ke liye roe hain
dekhna roegi duniya hum ko
