درِ یار سے رُسوا ہو کہ نکلے کچھ اس طرح

کہ پھر شہر کی سڑکوں پہ پھرتے رہے ہم ہر طرح

سوچا کہ اب اس زات سے نہ ہو نقصان مزید کسی کو

اِک آشیانے کی تلاش میں سرگرداں ہوئے ہر طرح

زمانے کی میلی نظر سے ہوئے جو آشنا

کانپتے وجود کو ملا رحمٰن کا اشارہ پھر اِک طرح

جس راستے پہ پِھر رہے ہو مناسب نہیں یہ

کیونکہ یتیم نہیں ہو سہارا باقی ہے ابھی ہر طرح

تہجد کے سجدے پہ پہنچنے کی دیر تھی بس

ہر دعا پہ کُن فرما ہوتی چلی گئی اور وہ بھی ہر طرح

اِک بار پھر سے آزمائے گئے اُسی انسان کے زریعے کہ جس پہ تھا مان بے انتہاء

وہ کر گیا پھر میری زات کو تار تار کبھی اِس طرح تو کبھی اُس طرح

دِکھا کر ہر انسان کی حقیقت اِس جہاں میں پوچھتا ہے میرا رب!

بتا ایک صفت بھی کسی میں باقی ہے میری طرح
