ذروں کی باتوں میں آنے والا تھا

میں صحرا سے ربط بڑھانے والا تھا

بارش امیدوں پر پانی پھیر گئی

میں رشتوں کو دھوپ لگانے والا تھا

پھر یاد آیا دور بہت ہی دور ہو تم

میں پاگل آواز لگانے والا تھا

جانے کیسے رات اماوس کی اتری

میں کاغذ پر چاند بنانے والا تھا

ایک کرن پھر مجھ کو واپس کھینچ گئی

میں بس جسم سے باہر آنے والا تھا

اس سے بچھڑنے کی تاریخ تو یاد نہیں

ہاں جاڑوں کا موسم آنے والا تھا

ٹھیک سمے پر ہی مجھ کو عرفان ہوا

میں گھر چھوڑ کے بن میں جانے والا تھا
