PB-49 Balochistan Assembly Lasbela-I - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Balochistan Election, Zahoor Ahmed from Independent was elected as Member Balochistan Assembly MPA, and got 8470 votes, the second runner up was Ghulam Jan from Pakistan Muslim League who got 3145 votes. 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 68612 voters registered in PB-49, out of which 16147 votes were polled out, 16147 votes were valid and 525 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 23.53 % for PB-49 constituency of Balochistan.
