Provincial Balochistan Assembly General Election 2008

The Provincial elections in Balochistan assembly, Pakistan were held on 18th February 2008 along with the national general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (Q) was the top leading party in this election, PPP won 18 seats out of 65 total seats. The total number of registered votes were 4520766, and 1493343 votes were polled, and turnover was 33.29%. There were 51 general seats in Balochistan assembly, 11 reserved seats for women and 3 seats are reserved for minorities, total seats are 65. After PMLQ, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) took the second position with 12 seats, and on third Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal Pakistan (MMA) won 10 seats.
