Results of PK-23 Shangla-I Bye-Election held on 22 August 2013

The Bye-Election was held on 22nd August 2013 in Provincial Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Assembly constituency PK-23 Shangla-I. Ahmad Khan Bahadur from Awami National Party got 13606 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Syed Umer Farooq from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf who got 12869 votes. Total 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 112346 voters registered in PK-23, out of which 30045 votes were polled out, 29390 votes were valid and 655 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 26.74 % for PK-23 constituency of National Assembly.
