دن کی گہری دھوپ نے

جو جو گھاؤ دیئے ہیں

ان میں میرے درد کا کوئی بھید نہ ڈھونڈو

میرے دکھ تو ان دیکھے ہیں

دیکھو

اس دیوار کے پیچھے

برسوں کی نفرت سے گھائل

تھکی ہوئی انجانی یادیں

پتیاں بن کے بکھر گئی ہیں

دور آکاش کے اس کونے میں

ایک میلی چادر میں لپٹی شام کھڑی ہے

آؤ چلیں اس شام کی چادر میں چھپ جائیں

شام جو ہم دکھیوں کی ماں ہے
