یہ کسی شخص کو کھونے کی تلافی ٹھہرا

میرا ہونا مرے ہونے میں اضافی ٹھہرا

جرم آدم تری پاداش تھی دنیا ساری

آخرش ہر کوئی حق دار معافی ٹھہرا

یہ ہے تفصیل کہ یک لمحۂ حیرت تھا کوئی

مختصر یہ کہ مری عمر کو کافی ٹھہرا

کچھ عیاں ہو نہ سکا تھا تری آنکھوں جیسا

وہ بدن ہو کے برہنہ بھی غلافی ٹھہرا

جب زمیں گھوم رہی ہو تو ٹھہرنا کیسا

کوئی ٹھہرا تو ٹھہرنے کے منافی ٹھہرا

قافیہ ملتے گئے عمر غزل ہوتی گئی

اور چہرہ ترا بنیاد قوافی ٹھہرا
