فریاد صدائے نفس آواز جرس ہے

کیا قافلۂ عمر کوں چلنے کا ہوس ہے

جو صاف دل ہے اس میں کدورت کا اثر نیں

ہر چند اگر دشمن آئینہ نفس ہے

لیتا ہوں اپس مدرسۂ دل میں سبق میں

اس شوخ مدرس کا وہاں جب سوں درس ہے

یک لمحہ نہ ہو مجھ سوں جدا اے مہ تاباں

ہر آن ترے ہجر کا مجھ حق میں برس ہے

داؤدؔ نہ کر پرسش محشر ستی کچھ خوف

واں آل محمدؐ کی شفاعت تجھے بس ہے
