لمحہ گزر گیا ہے کہ عرصہ گزر گیا

ہے کون وو جو وقت کی سازش یے کر گیا

اب عمر تو یے بیت چلی سوچتے تمہیں

اتنا ہوا ہے ہاں کہ ذرا میں سنور گیا

سمٹا تھا جب تلک وو ہتھیلی میں ٹھیک تھا

پہنچا لبوں پہ لمس تو نس نس بکھر گیا

یوں تو دہک رہا تھا وو سورج سا دور سے

جو پاس جا کے چھو لیا کیسا سحر گیا

دیکھوں تجھے قریب سے فرصت سے چین سے

میرا یے خواب مجھ کو لیے در بہ در گیا

اک روز تیرا نام سر راہ لے لیا

چلتا ہوا یہ شغل اچانک ٹھہر گیا

مصرع سسک رہا تھا اکیلا جو دیر سے

یاد اس کی آ گئی تو غزل میں اتر گیا
