وہ ٹکڑا رات کا بکھرا ہوا سا

ابھی تک دن پے ہے ٹھہرا ہوا سا

اداسی ایک لمحہ پر گری تھی

صدی کا بوجھ ہے پسرا ہوا سا

ادھر کھڑکی میں تھا مایوس چہرہ

ادھر بھی چاند ہے اترا ہوا سا

کرے ہے شور یوں سینہ میں یہ دل

سموچہ جسم ہے بہرا ہوا سا

یہ کن نظروں سے مجھ کو دیکھتے ہو

رہوں ہر دم سجا سنورا ہوا سا

سکھانے زلف وہ آئے ہیں چھت پر

ہے سورج آج پھر صحرا ہوا سا
