ہونٹوں پر ہے بات کڑی تعزیریں بھی

خاموشی کا رنگ ہوئیں تقریریں بھی

خوف یہی ہے آنے والی نسلوں کو

ایک عجوبہ ہوں گی یہ تحریریں بھی

موسم کے سو روپ مگر ان آنکھوں میں

خواب وہی ہیں خوابوں کی تعبیریں بھی

آئندہ کے سانس ہمارے اپنے ہیں

ٹوٹ چکیں اس وعدے کی زنجیریں بھی

ایک عجب حیرت میں گم سم رہتی ہیں

دیواریں دیواروں پر تصویریں بھی

پانی کی خاموش صدائیں کون سنے

ختم ہوئیں جب مٹی کی تاثیریں بھی
