اک سحر آلود مجھ میں بے خودی موجود ہے

صف بہ صف دشمن ہی دشمن ہیں مرے چاروں طرف

حوصلہ دیکھو کہ پھر بھی زندگی موجود ہے

بجھ گئی ہے بستیوں کی آگ اک مدت ہوئی

ذہن میں لیکن ابھی تک شعلگی موجود ہے

باد صرصر چل رہی ہے اور اس کے باوجود

پھر بھی شمعوں میں ابھی تک روشنی موجود ہے

ہے عجب اعجاز یہ اس کی محبت کا ظفرؔ

جاگتی آنکھوں میں خواب زندگی موجود ہے
