PK-18 Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Assembly Malakand Protected Area-I - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Election, Barrister Arshad Abdullah from Awami National Party was elected as Member Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Assembly MPA, and got 12162 votes, the second runner up was Fazal Mohammad Khan from Pakistan Muslim League who got 5034 votes. 6 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 87286 voters registered in PK-18, out of which 30342 votes were polled out, 29454 votes were valid and 893 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 34.76 % for PK-18 constituency of Khyber Pakhtunkhawah.
