PK-40 Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Assembly Haripur-I - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Election, Mian Nisar Gul Kaka Khel from Independent was elected as Member Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Assembly MPA, and got 29047 votes, the second runner up was Farid Khan Toofan from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 21204 votes. 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 158934 voters registered in PK-40, out of which 61729 votes were polled out, 60577 votes were valid and 1322 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 38.84 % for PK-40 constituency of Khyber Pakhtunkhawah.
