PS-68 Sindh Assembly Umerkot-I - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Sindh Election, Muhammad Taimur Talpur from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Sindh Assembly MPA, and got 28718 votes, the second runner up was Dr. Dost Muhammad Memon from Pakistan Muslim League who got 18953 votes. 14 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 104042 voters registered in PS-68, out of which 49820 votes were polled out, 48271 votes were valid and 1868 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 47.8 % for PS-68 constituency of Sindh.
