PS-99 Sindh Assembly Karachi East-I - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Sindh Election, Khawaja Izhar-ul-hasan from Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan was elected as Member Sindh Assembly MPA, and got 76880 votes, the second runner up was Sohail Sami Dehlvi from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 3503 votes. 4 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 138655 voters registered in PS-99, out of which 81277 votes were polled out, 80696 votes were valid and 581 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 58.61 % for PS-99 constituency of Sindh.
