PS-70 Sindh Assembly Umerkot-II - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Sindh Election, Syed Ali Mardan Shah from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Sindh Assembly MPA, and got 41728 votes, the second runner up was Rajveer Singh from Pakistan Muslim League (F) who got 16879 votes. 16 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 125317 voters registered in PS-70, out of which 61787 votes were polled out, 59926 votes were valid and 3207 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 49.03 % for PS-70 constituency of Sindh.
