PS-28 Sindh Assembly Shaheed Benazirabad-V - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Sindh Election, Sardar Jam Tamachi Unar from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member Sindh Assembly MPA, and got 33243 votes, the second runner up was Dr. Bahadur Khan Dahri from Pakistan Muslim League who got 22791 votes. 14 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 116863 voters registered in PS-28, out of which 46389 votes were polled out, 57238 votes were valid and 2250 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 39.69 % for PS-28 constituency of Sindh.
