PS-124 Sindh Assembly Karachi Central-II - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Sindh Election, Muhammad Alim Ur Rehman from Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan was elected as Member Sindh Assembly MPA, and got 53778 votes, the second runner up was Ghulam Mustafa Memon from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 6776 votes. 8 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 142597 voters registered in PS-124, out of which 66860 votes were polled out, 66157 votes were valid and 703 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 46.88 % for PS-124 constituency of Sindh.
