خواہشوں میں بھی انکساری ہے

چل پڑی ہے اجل کی راہوں پر

زندگی بے خبر سواری ہے

دل سے اپنے جو ہار جاتے ہیں

ساری دنیا انہیں سے ہاری ہے

اس معیشت میں کامیابی کا راز

کون کتنا بڑا جواری ہے

دین سمجھے ہیں جس کو آپ فروغؔ

KHwahishon mein bhi inkisari hai

chal paDi hai ajal ki rahon par
zindagi be-KHabar sawari hai

dil se apne jo haar jate hain
sari duniya unhin se haari hai

is maishat mein kaamyabi ka raaz
kaun kitna baDa juari hai

din samjhe hain jis ko aap 'farogh'
