آشیانے کی جب بھی یاد آئی

صابر ابو ہری

آشیانے کی جب بھی یاد آئی

ایک بجلی سی دل میں لہرائی

یوں بھی دیکھا گیا ہے محفل میں

وہ تماشا تھے ہم تماشائی

تیرے آنچل کا جس پہ سایہ ہو

اس گدا پر نثار دارائی

ہم نے دامن ہی جا لیا ان کا

لوگ کرتے رہے جبیں سائی

ماہ و انجم میں لالہ و گل میں

ہم کو تیری جھلک نظر آئی

دوست آئے تھے مجھ کو سمجھا نے

حال دیکھا تو آنکھ بھر آئی

چھا گئیں مستیاں فضاؤں میں

تیرے دامن کی جب ہوا آئی

جو محبت میں مٹ گیا صابرؔ

اس نے مر کر بھی زندگی پائی

aashiyane ki jab bhi yaad aai
ek bijli si dil mein lahrai

yun bhi dekha gaya hai mahfil mein
wo tamasha the hum tamashai

tere aanchal ka jis pe saya ho
us gada par nisar darai

hum ne daman hi ja liya un ka
log karte rahe jabin-sai

mah-o-anjum mein lala-o-gul mein
hum ko teri jhalak nazar aai

dost aae the mujh ko samjha ne
haal dekha to aankh bhar aai

chha gain mastiyan fazaon mein
tere daman ki jab hawa aai

jo mohabbat mein miT gaya 'sabir'
us ne mar kar bhi zindagi pai
