وہ صورتیں جو بڑی شوخ ہیں سجیلی ہیں

انہیں قریب سے دیکھا تو وہ بھی پیلی ہیں

میں ایک جھیل کے تٹ پر اداس بیٹھا ہوا

یہ سوچتا ہوں وہ آنکھیں بھی کتنی نیلی ہیں

مری محبتیں میری وفائیں میرا خلوص

تری کلائی میں یہ چوڑیاں بھی ڈھیلی ہیں

میں دلدلوں کے علاقے میں آ گیا شاید

کہ دھوپ تیز ہے لیکن ہوائیں سیلی ہیں

نہ جانے کون سا یہ شہر ہے کہ اس کے بعد

ہمارے گرد جو راہیں ہیں سب کٹیلی ہیں
