میر بھی پانی بھرے،ایسی غزل کہنی ہے
سب پہ انگلی جو دھرے،ایسی غزل کہنی ہے
سرد ہوجائے نہ بازار مری شہرت کا
دام کرنے ہیں کھرے،ایسی غزل کہنی ہے
جو دکھا سکتی ہو استاد کو دن میں تارے
وہ بھی کہہ اٹھے ،ارے،ایسی غزل کہنی ہے
یعنی خود کُش ہودھماکے سے اڑا سکتی ہو
دُور ہو،ہٹ جا پرے،ایسی غزل کہنی ہے
گھاس الفاظ کی بُزغزلیں یہاں چرتی ہیں
جو ہرن بن کے چرے،ایسی غزل کہنی ہے
