حق پرستی کے سزاوار ہوا کرتے تھے
تاشی ظہیر
حق پرستی کے سزاوار ہوا کرتے تھے
ہم کبھی صاحب کردار ہوا کرتے تھے
کوئی مذہب ہو کوئی رنگ ہو مل بیٹھتے تھے
دیس میں ایسے بھی تہوار ہوا کرتے تھے
پاس تہذیب تھا اک وہ بھی زمانہ تھا کبھی
میرے دشمن بھی مرے یار ہوا کرتے تھے
اس طرح تھک کے تو بیٹھا نہیں کرتے تھے ہم
راستے پہلے بھی دشوار ہوا کرتے تھے
اب تو سوکھے ہوئے پتوں کا بھرم رکھتے ہیں
ہم کبھی شاخ ثمر دار ہوا کرتے تھے
پگڑیاں قدموں میں رکھنے کا ہنر سیکھ گئے
ہم وہی ہیں جو سر دار ہوا کرتے تھے
