PK-9 Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Assembly Swat-VIII - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Election, Arbab Mohammad Ayyub Jan from Awami National Party was elected as Member Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Assembly MPA, and got 14854 votes, the second runner up was Iftikhar Ahmad Khan Jagra from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 14146 votes. 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 70313 voters registered in PK-9, out of which 33236 votes were polled out, 33226 votes were valid and 908 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 47.27 % for PK-9 constituency of Khyber Pakhtunkhawah.
