دل شکستہ رہے اداس رہے

علیم اطہر

دل شکستہ رہے اداس رہے

روح خود سے بھی ناشناس رہے

کاٹ دو ہاتھ، سر قلم بھی ہو

جسم کیوں محوِ التماس رہے

کیجئے اور مت تراش خراش

نقش ابھرے نہ کچھ بھی آس رہے

پتھر ایسے چٹان سے لڑھکے

ریزے ریزے میں انعکاس رہے

میں منافق نہیں یہ مسئلہ ہے

میرے لہجے میں کیا مٹھاس رہے

چُلّو بھر پانی کیا نہیں کافی

اب طلب میں نہ کچھ بھی پیاس رہے

دیکھ پارو اے میری پاروتی

آس پاس اب نہ دیوداس رہے

ایک دوجے کا رکھ رہے ہیں بھرم

ہم تو مر کر بھی بالباس رہے

ہے مزاج اپنا اکھڑا اکھڑا سا

ہم ہمیشہ ہی بدحواس رہے
