جہاں کہیں بھی رہے ہم تو سرخ رو ہی رہے

وہ دور ہے کہ غم وصل و ہجر ایک طرف

میں سوچتا ہوں محبت کی آبرو ہی رہے

نہ پوچھ ہم سے زمانے نے کیا سلوک کیا

بہت ہے دل میں اگر تیری آرزو ہی رہے

یہ مے کدہ ہے یہاں خون دل کی بات نہ کر

یہاں تو تذکرۂ بادہ و سبو ہی رہے

شب فراق تو آخر گزارنی ٹھہری

جو وہ نہیں نہ سہی اس کی گفتگو ہی رہے

خدا کرے نہ کبھی لذت سفر کم ہو

تمام عمر ہمیں تیری جستجو ہی رہے

بہار آئی بھی خاورؔ تو کیا بہار آئی

چمن کے پھول تو محروم‌ رنگ و بو ہی رہے
