Results of PK-50 Mardan-III Bye-Election held on 23 January 2014

The Bye-Election was held on 23rd January 2014 in Provincial Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Assembly constituency PK-50 Mardan-III. Akbar Ayub Khan from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf got 26957 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Babar Nawaz Khan from Independent who got 23760 votes. Total 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 153520 voters registered in PK-50, out of which 83783 votes were polled out, 74083 votes were valid and 1266 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 49.08 % for PK-50 constituency of National Assembly.
