ہائے موسم کی طرح دوست بدل جاتے ہیں

ہم ابھی تک ہیں گرفتار محبت یارو

ٹھوکریں کھا کے سنا تھا کہ سنبھل جاتے ہیں

وہ کبھی اپنی جفا پر نہ ہوا شرمندہ

ہم سمجھتے رہے پتھر بھی پگھل جاتے ہیں

عمر بھر جن کی وفاؤں پہ بھروسہ کیجے

وقت پڑنے پہ وہی لوگ بدل جاتے ہیں

اس تغافل پہ یہ عالم کہ ہر اک محفل سے

وہ بھی گاتے ہوئے والیؔ کی غزل جاتے ہیں
