Results of PP-240 Bahawalnagar-IV Bye-Election held on 7 October 2013

The Bye-Election was held on 7th October 2013 in Provincial Punjab Assembly constituency PP-240 Bahawalnagar-IV. Shamona Badshah Qaisrani from Pakistan Muslim League (n) got 46988 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Khawaja Muhammad Daod Sulemani from Independent who got 19299 votes. Total 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 149198 voters registered in PP-240, out of which 0 votes were polled out, 72209 votes were valid and 1570 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 49.45 % for PP-240 constituency of National Assembly.
