PP-242 Punjab Assembly Bahawalnagar-VI - Results in 2013 Provincial General Election

In 2013 General Provincial Punjab Election, Javeed Akhtar from Independent was elected as Member Punjab Assembly MPA, and got 28173 votes, the second runner up was Mohsin Atta Khan Khosa from Pakistan Muslim League (N) who got 27289 votes. 12 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2013, there were total 146044 voters registered in PP-242, out of which 71263 votes were polled out, 69781 votes were valid and 2399 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 48.80 % for PP-242 constituency of Punjab.
