NA-261 National Assembly Jafarabad-Cum-Sohbatpur - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Molvi Agha Muhammad from Mutthida majlis-e-amal pakistan was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 30611 votes, the second runner up was Muhammad Sarwar Khan Kakar from Pakistan Muslim League who got 23350 votes. 17 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 297591 voters registered in NA-261, out of which 85306 votes were polled out, 81820 votes were valid and 3191 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 28.66 % for NA-261 constituency of National Assembly.
