NA-44 National Assembly Khyber Agency-ll Tribal Area-V - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Syed Akhun Zada Chittan from Independent was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 6257 votes, the second runner up was Shahab Ud Din Khan from Independent who got 5203 votes. 9 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 136052 voters registered in NA-44, out of which 24062 votes were polled out, 23221 votes were valid and 847 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 17.69 % for NA-44 constituency of National Assembly.
