NA-197 National Assembly Kashmore - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Sardar Muhammad Arshad Khan Laghari from Pakistan Muslim League (N) was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 82565 votes, the second runner up was Rais Munir Ahmad from Pakistan Muslim League who got 53983 votes. 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 352085 voters registered in NA-197, out of which 145705 votes were polled out, 140934 votes were valid and 5108 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 41.00 % for NA-197 constituency of National Assembly.
