NA-237 National Assembly Malir-ll - Results in 2008 General Election

In 2008 General National Assembly Election, Dr. Abdul Wahid Soomro from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 85138 votes, the second runner up was Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Sheerazi from Pakistan Muslim League who got 56052 votes. 4 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 431030 voters registered in NA-237, out of which 148754 votes were polled out, 141633 votes were valid and 5916 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 34.51 % for NA-237 constituency of National Assembly.
