PK-59 Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Assembly Charsadda-IV - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Election, Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand from Independent was elected as Member Khyber Pakhtunkhawah Assembly MPA, and got 16528 votes, the second runner up was Muhammad Ihtezaz Ayaz Malang from Mutthida majlis-e-amal pakistan who got 12998 votes. 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 94398 voters registered in PK-59, out of which 35586 votes were polled out, 35105 votes were valid and 481 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 37.69 % for PK-59 constituency of Khyber Pakhtunkhawah.
