PS-112 Sindh Assembly KKarachi West-I - Results in 2008 Provincial General Election

In 2008 General Provincial Sindh Election, Moqueem Alam from Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan was elected as Member Sindh Assembly MPA, and got 27371 votes, the second runner up was Syed Najmi Alam from Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians who got 26902 votes. 12 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2008, there were total 189233 voters registered in PS-112, out of which 57382 votes were polled out, 56760 votes were valid and 662 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 30.34 % for PS-112 constituency of Sindh.
