Results of PP-196 Sahiwal-I Bye-Election held on 21 May 2015

The Bye-Election was held on 21st May 2015 in Provincial Punjab Assembly constituency PP-196 Sahiwal-I. Rana Mehmood Ul Hassan from Pakistan Muslim League (n) got 30278 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Rana Abdul Jabbar from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf who got 19321 votes. Total 14 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 175778 voters registered in PP-196, out of which 88689 votes were polled out, 58095 votes were valid and 503 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 72.65 % for PP-196 constituency of National Assembly.
