Results of PP-161 Lahore-XVIII Bye-Election held on 22 August 2013

The Bye-Election was held on 22nd August 2013 in Provincial Punjab Assembly constituency PP-161 Lahore-XVIII. Chaudhry Gulzar Ahmed Gujjar from Pakistan Muslim League (n) got 27788 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Chaudhry Khalid Mehmood Gujjar from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf who got 20157 votes. Total 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 185557 voters registered in PP-161, out of which 51781 votes were polled out, 51057 votes were valid and 724 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 27.91 % for PP-161 constituency of National Assembly.
