Results of PP-162 Lahore XIX Bye-Election held on 23 October 2014

The Bye-Election was held on 23rd October 2014 in Provincial Punjab Assembly constituency PP-162 Lahore XIX. Muhammad Hassaan Riaz from Pakistan Muslim League (n) got 39373 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Ch. Usman Nisar Panu from Independent who got 21962 votes. Total 5 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 127842 voters registered in PP-162, out of which 76881 votes were polled out, 62043 votes were valid and 1304 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 49.46 % for PP-162 constituency of National Assembly.
