Results of NA-149 Multan-II Bye-Election held on 16 October 2014

The Bye-Election was held on 16th October 2014 in National Assembly constituency NA-149 Multan-II. Malik Muhammad Aamir Dogar from Independent got 52321 votes and was elected as Member National Assembly (MNA). The first runner up was Javed Hashmi from Independent who got 38393 votes. Total 19 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 338005 voters registered in NA-149, out of which 189660 votes were polled out, 99616 votes were valid and 680 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 29.37 % for NA-149 constituency of National Assembly.
