NA-242 National Assembly Karachi East-l - Results in 2013 General Election

In 2013 General National Assembly Election, Mehboob Alam from Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan was elected as Member National Assembly MNA, and got 166836 votes, the second runner up was Akram Khan from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf who got 10889 votes. 9 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates contested in the election.
In Election 2013, there were total 307684 voters registered in NA-242, out of which 201670 votes were polled out, 198288 votes were valid and 3475 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 65.54 % for NA-242 constituency of National Assembly.
