Results of PP-254 Bahawalpur-X Bye-Election held on 22 August 2013

The Bye-Election was held on 22nd August 2013 in Provincial Punjab Assembly constituency PP-254 Bahawalpur-X. Hammad Nawaz Khan from Pakistan Muslim League (n) got 23182 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Abdul Haye Dasti from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf who got 17063 votes. Total 26 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 169942 voters registered in PP-254, out of which 74362 votes were polled out, 72817 votes were valid and 1545 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 43.75 % for PP-254 constituency of National Assembly.
