Results of PP-51 Gujranwala-I Bye-Election held on 22 August 2013

The Bye-Election was held on 22nd August 2013 in Provincial Punjab Assembly constituency PP-51 Gujranwala-I. Azad Ali Tabassum from Pakistan Muslim League (n) got 39676 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Muhammad Ajmal Cheema from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf who got 22342 votes. Total 15 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 167180 voters registered in PP-51, out of which 76037 votes were polled out, 74353 votes were valid and 684 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 44.88 % for PP-51 constituency of National Assembly.
